At Real Frozen Dads, your fun is our business—but your safety is our priority. Whether you’re serving kids' slushies or adult cocktails, please follow these safety guidelines to ensure a smooth and worry-free experience.

General Machine Safety:

• Keep machine upright at all times – Never tilt or lay the machine down, as this may cause coolant leaks or damage.
• Plug directly into a grounded outlet – Avoid using extension cords or power strips. The machine requires its own dedicated outlet.
• Do not operate outdoors in the rain – Use the machine in covered or dry outdoor areas only. Avoid exposure to water or direct sunlight for long periods.
• Ensure proper ventilation – The machine needs air circulation. Do not place it flush against a wall or enclose it in tight spaces.
• Keep children away from controls – While it’s fun to watch, only adults should operate the machine.

Safe Usage Tips

• Allow the machine to chill before serving – It takes 1–2 hours to freeze the mix fully depending on the environment.
• Do not overfill – Fill each tank only up to the indicated max fill line to prevent overflow.
• Never insert hands or utensils into tanks – The rotating augers are motorized and can cause injury.
• Use only recommended mixes – Do not use carbonated beverages or dairy-based liquids. These can damage the machine and cause unsafe foaming or separation.

If you are adding alcohol

• Add alcohol after the initial freezing process – Alcohol slows the freezing time. For best results, freeze the base mix first, then add liquor once it begins to slush.
• Follow proper alcohol ratios – Too much alcohol will prevent freezing and may damage the machine. Stick to no more than 1.75 liter of liquor per 15L tank.
• Clearly label alcoholic beverages – If serving a mix with alcohol, inform guests and consider signage, especially if children are present.
• Keep alcoholic drinks away from children – Supervise all serving areas and monitor who’s accessing which tank.
• Drink and serve responsibly – Keep your friends and family safe by monitoring in take. If someone has had too much to drink, monitor them and make sure they don't drive or operate machinery.

At Real Frozen Dads, we want you to have fun and don't want you to stress about cleaning but we require the following

• Do not disassemble the machine – We’ll take care of all internal cleaning after pick-up.
• Empty excess mix – Please drain leftover slush from the tanks before we arrive to retrieve the unit.
• Wipe exterior if heavily used – A quick wipe-down of any spills is appreciated!

At Real Frozen Dads, we want to make the process easy to rent equipment.  Book directly online by selecting your date and time and we will take care of the rest.  We will deliver and set up the equipment for you.  Additional Delivery charges may apply for delivers beyond 15 miles of zip code 30342.  Your frozen drink consultant from Real Frozen will provide a tutorial on how to use the machine the day of your rental.  You can always reach out if you have issues or problems.  When done, all you need to do is a basic rinse of the machine and we will pick it up.
